    Something new…

If you’ve been following me for awhile, THANK YOU!

    Stay tuned for something new!

    Coming soon!

  • Nostalgia triggered

    What makes you feel nostalgic?

Music, photos, food, smells, and memories are my triggers for remembering the good and bad times. Such stimulus though not in front of you at times, can remind you of memorable times when they do come to the forefront.

  • Holiday Blues

With the last two months of the year here, holidays must be near. That got me to thinking about loneliness. It really is such a season of Merry and sadness too!

I realized that one may have many things and even people around you but you can still be lonely. That longing for less emptiness doesn’t automatically make it a symptom of depression but just a sign of loneliness.

I know as I get older, making friends is so tough. It was never easy growing up but it’s even more difficult as an adult! Reading and seeing what others post on social media, it’s clear to me, people can be outwardly happy but still be lonely.

Holiday Blues are definitely legit and discreetly masked!

  • Famous person

Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?

I’ve met many but by far the coolest was meeting Malala, a Nobel Peace Prize winner! I mean, how awesome is that?

  • Principles

What principles define how you live?

Some things are non-negotiable for me:

    1. Look for the good in others
    2. Think then speak
    3. Love with your whole heart
    4. Talk to your parents, time is limited
    5. Give time to your dog/pets
    6. Exercise to keep your body strong
    7. Don’t over-eat
    8. Drink water!
    9. Be grateful for your blessings
    10. Find the good in your day!
    11. Bonus: stay happy and smile often!
  • Branding

What brands do you associate with?

Brands that I like make me feel something. What do I mean by that?

Well, if I’m buying something is it because it makes me happy, feels good to own or use, or does it give me some benefit that I can’t get elsewhere. If it checks any of those boxes then I’ll associate with it. However, if it’s unethical, promoting something bad for you or just too woke then I won’t associate with it.

Keep it simple and more than likely I’ll look at that brand before purchasing an item!

  • Motivation

    What motivates you?

This was an interesting question but everyday my answer is the same, to be the best I can be no matter the situation.

We all have stress but a positive perspective always outweighs a negative one!

    Stay positive and be well!

  • Serenity

What do you love about where you live?

The wonderful landscape outside is so great for one’s mood. With each changing season, Mother Nature provides so much to explore and enjoy.

Happiness doesn’t have to cost a thing!

  • Phases of life

Are you seeking security or adventure?

Seeking adventure or security is something we all seek but I think what we want really depends on where we are in life.

Adventure can be part of your day to day just by doing something outside of the routine while security could be something as a simple as having software on your phone that prevents hacking. What you want be it small or grand really depends on where you are in life!

  • Get your vitamin D

What is your favorite season of year? Why?

Summer is the best season! So much time to soak up the sun and get my vitamin d without a supplement.

Plus, just being outside is so good for your health!

  • Life before the Internet

Do you remember life before the internet?

    Simpler times for sure!

We used to play outside, make friends in real life, wait on the street light to come on so we knew it was time to go home, learned how to write in cursive… Ahh, simpler times!
