Two types of Vit D? Whoa!

If you’re not eating enough salmon, eggs, fortified cereals, and drinking milk, how are you getting your vitamin d?

If you’re taking a supplement, did you know there are two types of Vitamin d?

D2 is known as ergocalciferol and D3 is cholecalciferol. Typically, D3 is known as the sunshine vitamin as that’s what you get when you’re out in the sun while d2 is the plant based one that is typically found in mushrooms. D2 usually is prescription based though you can also find it on various platforms like Amazon.

Always ask your doctor about which one you need. Check with your doctor before taking any supplements!
