A few days back I wrote about Kodiak Cakes brownie cup which I truly enjoyed and so of course I had to try some of their other products. What did I venture into next? I tried the flapjack. I love eating breakfast items as meals so I didn’t mind trying a pancake in a cup? Possible? Yes? Tasty? Read on.
The reason that I picked up the flapjack cup was that it was one serving and had many flavors to choose from like smores, cinnamon, and more. So if something tastes good, does it have protein? This one serving had 12g protein and since I’m always struggling to get protein in, this was an easy way to do so. The price point combined with serving size and protein content made it an easy purchase decision. Add 1/2 cup milk, microwave for 1 min and you are ready to eat. So how did it taste? Yummy! I truly felt like I was eating a pancake. Also, if you are eating gluten-free, they do have a gluten-free version. Do give the flapjack a try if you looking for a convenient way to get in more protein!
