Lately, I’ve been doing various tabatas to stay motivated while exercising at home. What is tabata? It is a 20s on 10 sec off exercise program that is usually 8 round which equals 4 mins. It will whip you into shape if done correctly. The nice thing is that you could pretty program many exercises in it.
An example would be:
Tabata, complete each exercise, 8 rounds, before moving on to the next. Take a 1 min rest between exercises.
Exercise 1: flutter kicks
Exercise 2: situps
Exercise 3: scissor kicks
Exercise 4: leg lifts
Those 4 exercises will give you a nice core workout in 16 mins (not including rests). If you are short on time, I highly recommend incorporating tabatas in your workout.
