To take a break from our day to day, I’ll share an interesting tidbit that I learned this week. What is it? There is no correlation between how ripe an avocado is with its size. Since the fruit and the seed grow together, the size ratio stays the same. The ripeness of the avocado is dependent on how soft to touch it is, no matter its size. Pretty neat right? Of course, the price per pound changes based on size but not the ripeness!
