    Something new…

If you’ve been following me for awhile, THANK YOU!

    Stay tuned for something new!

    Coming soon!

  • Someone who impacted me

Share a story about someone who had a positive impact on your life.

To become who I am today, the contributions are from many including my parents but if look at someone else who impacted me, it would have to be my 6th grade teacher, Ms. Whitlock.

She was a sweet, lady..who most, probably thought she was super old due to her grey hair but I doubt she was.. Plus when you’re a kid in the 6th grade, anyone with grey hair is old, right?

Anyway, I’ll never forget Ms. Whitlock because she always encouraged me to read as I was struggling to learn English. She gave me a book to read every time I finished one. One of my favorites from the time was Trumpet of the Swan. To most, E.B. White’s most famous and renown book is Charlotte’s Web but I didn’t start with the latter. Anyway, because of Ms. Whitlock, I was able to learn and improve my English by the end of 6th grade and was able to continue to progress all through middle school.

Sometimes a little encouragement and the right kind of push is all it takes!

    Thanks Ms. Whitlock!

  • Freedom

What does freedom mean to you?

One simple definition.. The ability to make a choice..

We often taken this for granted until we meet someone who wasn’t able to due to their circumstances in a situation or in a country.

    Grateful for freedom!

  • Favorite holiday

What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favorite?

Christmas! So many to choose from but in the States, this is the time you see joy in people.. something to look forward to every year.

My favorite holiday is forever going to be Christmas! Each year is something different and always leads to good memories!

  • Best learning from high school

Describe something you learned in high school.

My best learning from high school was in chemistry class. Never put water from the tap in a hot glass beaker to cool it, it’ll break and shatter.

So what do you do? You cool it from the outside. Run the water on the sides of the hot beaker instead of inside it.

    Hands down the best learning!

  • Favorite Olympic Event

What Olympic sports do you enjoy watching the most?

Such a hard one to choose.. swimming is always great to watch but so is ice skating and sledding. Tennis and basketball too. What I’m watching, all of it depends on who is playing.

  • What do you want to be when you grow up?

When you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Growing up, I wanted to be many things from an astronaut to a President to an actor but the one that stuck with me the longest was being an actor. Something about it was so fascinating, getting to play many different characters, dance, and sing.. But alas twist in fate…

I became a scientist/engineer, which I really enjoy but still that dream of being an actor still lingers.

  • Walk more

What do you wish you could do more every day?

We all know the benefits of walking and getting in our steps but some of us still struggle to walk a decent amount every day.

Does going to the gym daily justify not walking daily? What do you think?

  • Knitting

What is the last thing you learned?

The last thing I learned was knitting.. So much fun and a great way to be creative!

I especially enjoy it because it’s vastly different from my day job. A great way to release stress!

  • Who would you be?

If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be, and why?

I’d be my mom and dad so I could truly understand their life experiences and understand that why I behave(d) the way I do is truly a reflection of that or not.
