  • Which supplement should I take? #Supplement Explorer

Are you always on your phone looking at which supplements you should take? Do you look at reviews? How do you decide what to buy?

As someone who has been in the nutraceutical industry for over 10 years, I’ve worked with many suppliers and companies to understand why an ingredient is chosen, what research is behind it, and how to sell it to a consumer, so if you are looking for some answers to questions you may have, drop a comment, or even better check out the Supplement Explorer on the site. It is free to use, 3 questions, and a simple output. No info is stored.

I made the Supplement Explorer purely for my use and then thought, well, if it is useful for me, maybe it is useful for others. The tool is not affiliated with any company or brand, but was just a way for me to showcase what I find useful. If you use it, do give me feedback as to what you’d like to see it on too.

Stay well and remember, before taking any supplements, check with your doctor if it is a good fit for you or not!

  • 10 yrs from now

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Life is so unpredictable but hopefully my loved ones are safe and healthy as am I.

  • No better pet than a…

What animals make the best/worst pets?

The love of a pet is so unconditional so I never understand why people are mean to them. Those people deserve a special place down under.

No better pet than a.. pet that you love! Each pet provides you comfort and gives you a sense of responsibility. My personal favorite is a dog and gold fish as each has its own charm!

    What’s your favorite pet?

  • Favorite weather

What is your favorite type of weather?

One that let’s me enjoy it..

Summer without sweat, fall without jackets, winter without snow shoveling, and spring without allergies…

    😂

  • Steady

What is one word that describes you?

I think steady is a good word as somehow even with high stress, I still push through without getting out of sync.

  • Shopping spree

Where would you go on a shopping spree?

My choices in no particular order, a pharmacy so can help others, Bangkok for cheap stuff, Dubai for expensive stuff, a supplement shop because supplements are expensive, a farm for fresh food, and a grocery store for daily needs.

  • Advice

What advice would you give to your teenage self?

This was an easy one to answer, go with your gut!

As an adult, my gut has navigated me through a lot and it was 99% right. As a teenager, you tend to second guess a decision but not so much as an adult.

    Always go with your gut!

  • Change a law

If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?

This is one was pretty easy to answer. The law I would change is that Senators and Supreme Court judges can’t be elected for more than two terms!

We have to evolve with the times!

  • First computer

    Write about your first computer.

    Ah, nostalgia…

My first computer that I was exposed to was at keyboarding class. Took the class because I and my folks thought it would help with typing faster. The computer itself looked like the ones you saw in the movie The Net with Sandra Bullock. Those were the popular ones back then!

  • Best leisure activity

What do you enjoy doing most in your leisure time?

No matter how many activities you are involved in that bring enjoyment, absolutely nothing is more rejuvenating than a nap or sleep!

  • Leadership

    What makes a good leader?

A good leader must have many traits but to me the foremost one to have is understanding.

Understanding and guiding your team or project is important.

Understanding the company metrics or team goals is important.

Understanding what as a leader is actually possible to deliver is important.

Understanding your team can make a decision and that micromanagement isn’t necessary.

Understanding the future vision for not just the project, company but also the team and adapting as needed.

A good leader embodies the above and can maintain a healthy environment so burnout or resentment doesn’t creep in.
