    Something new…

If you’ve been following me for awhile, THANK YOU!

    Stay tuned for something new!

    Coming soon!

  • Smartphone

What technology would you be better off without, why?

As much as I love my smartphone, a simpler phone with Google maps and basic texting would be ideal but alas they don’t look so cool.

  • Local ice cream shop

What is your favorite place to go in your city?

My favorite place to go to in my city is a local ice cream place.  The ice cream is so good but they are only open in the warm months so always have to wait for the next summer season.

Favorite flavor is dark chocolate ice cream topped with peanut butter sauce.  Plus, the price is pretty good in this inflationary world.

A simple treat at the end of the day or sometimes during the day, too!

  • Mood booster

What is good about having a pet?

If you have a pet, you not only get to learn how to be responsible, but no matter how bad your day is, your pet is there to lift your mood.

Dogs are always unconditionally waiting for you when you get home while cats, horses, fish, and other animals are looking for your presence to complete their day as well. Unconditional love is what it’s all about.

Life without a pet is vastly different once you’ve had a pet, don’t you agree?

  • Food specialty

What food would you say is your specialty?

I would say mine would be overnight oats  because you can be so creative with it. You can add fruits to peanut butter to protein powder to chia seeds and more. It’s a true surprise every morning when you dig in!

  • A million dollars

If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?

Having a million dollars is great, but in this inflation economy, it really won’t get you too far.

My proposal would be to invest so that it actually holds value and then donate it to those who need it from pet charities to human ones, whichever one I’m most passionate about would be on my radar.

However, going to a charity would mean that I need to be convinced with facts that it is being used for that purpose before the donation is made.

  • Favorite hobby

What is your favorite hobby or pastime?

My favorite hobby or pastime lately has been playing Wordle before bed.  For some odd reason, it’s challenging enough, and at the same time, when I’m done, I’m ready to pass out and sleep.

  • Cultural heritage

What aspects of your cultural heritage are you most proud of or interested in?

To me, all of my culture is important and is something of interest.  One because it makes me who I am and two because different aspects of my culture apply to my life based on what I’m going thru..kinda provides comfort, know what I mean?

  • Ideal week

    Describe your ideal week.

Simply stated as one where I have low stress and time to enjoy my hobbies while focusing on my mental, spiritual, and physical health.

  • Old school

How would you design the city of the future?

Everything old at some point becomes new, so I’ll design my future city with no cars, everything accessible by walking, and require everyone to have a garden to grow food and contribute that to society. Finally, a requirement to volunteer for the benefit of the city to foster community bonding.

  • Teachers

What profession do you admire most and why?

It all starts with teachers. They formulate our minds and encourage us and guide us. Not to mention all they have to put up with because students and their parents aren’t the easiest to deal with either.

It’s up to us to put in the effort and heed their advice but those who do, really reap the benefits from a good teacher’s advice. That’s why we remember our favorite teachers!
