One thing we all can do to limit our eating out or rather get delivery during quarantine time is cook. Sounds easy enough to do but hard to execute. If you’re limited in money or grocery items, you can still adventure on with your cooking because eating in doesn’t have to be fancy.
My favorite thing to make that requires little prep is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich via zero carb bread that I found at Aldi. I have this sandwich with a side of fruit or a Caesar salad and voila, I have a quick and simple meal. Of course, if I have more time, I use my instant pot to make chicken or saute shrimp or even make Indian food. I think the biggest hurdle for me today to cooking is being lazy since there is no routine right now and one day blends into the next.
To stay motivated, I try to cook/eat in as much as I can because I don’t want an expanding waistline!
