Where’s the next food shortage?

It’s hard to predict what’s in stock at the grocery store when you need something during these times so people will buy and hoard what they need. Though demand seems to be there, the supply chain can’t keep up. This is leading to shortages in various categories including food and paper products which can be a problem when you need it for daily life and not for hoarding. Can we predict what’s going to be in demand next or where the shortage will be?

The answer is no but you know what you need for your house so my prediction is that the next supply chain to be disrupted is the pet food one. Remember, we treat our pets as our family so we want to keep feeding them and not disrupt their lives too much because let’s face it, in stressful times, they provide us much joy. Tip: if you have the means, buy larger bags of food for your pet before the supply chain forces you to buy whatever is available or go without.
