Is staying motivated to work out from home a challenge? I know for some of us who like going to the gym, working out at home requires creativity to know what to do but the internet has tons of workouts for this scenario with or without equipment so that’s covered but what about motivation? Where does that come from? Do you have it in this situation?
My motivation comes from the fact that as I’m snacking more now that I’m working from home, I got to find a way to burn those excess calories plus working out is also a stress release-be it at home or at the gym. I steady motivated because I schedule a time to do this workout just as if it was a meeting in the day. Yes, it is not the same with others in a gym but if this is the new normal, one can always find ways to challenge oneself. Remember, exercise doesn’t have to be working out with weights, it could just be taking a walk so find something that you can consistently do and you’ll stay motivated until the gym reopens!
