Protein Doughnuts

In the hope of staying healthy, a lot of us turn to foods that are convenient and healthy but when has the boundary been crossed? Should you be consuming items like protein doughnuts? Should it exist? Why does it exist?

We as a population today want convenience and results with what we are eating so what does that result in? Finding ways to get our macros in is why we create these new items and convince ourselves that we can eat them even if they don’t taste good. Having consumed many types of protein powders for protein shakes, I can definitely say one thing, it’s very unlikely someone is looking forward to their protein shake because it tastes great (without all the add-ons of fruit, nut butters, veggies, etc). Yet, we don’t mind taking it because it’s what we are supposed to drink after a workout or need to supplement our protein intake. What about taste?

I guess, we must make a compromise to achieve our goals but too bad we have found a way to make doughnuts healthier too!
