So I didn’t think that I would like rice cakes as they always have that aura of being tasteless or super healthy but I decided to buy some this week from Target and make something with it.
I decided to start simple, rice cake, peanut butter, and fruit. Did this cover my need for protein, carbs, and fat? Yup! Did it fill the need for a quick breakfast? Yup! Did it taste good? Yup! I think it helped that I bought the chocolate flavor rice cake. Would I continue to buy this again? Most likely because it was fast and easy to make and filling too. I wasn’t hungry an hour later. Sometimes, just getting over that healthy halo is the most difficult part and in this case, I’m glad that I tried it out.
