Recently, I upped my intake of protein as I noticed that I was falling short, thanks to tracking via My Fitness Pal. Luckily, I love drinking the OWYN shakes so to my surprise I found that they had a one that was a meal replacement. It comes in two flavors but I preferred the chai one. So how did it taste? What did it cost?
Let’s start with the taste, I enjoyed both versions but really enjoyed the chai one. The earthy taste was nice without being too strong. Plus, the boost of protein and satiety that I got was great. I wouldn’t recommend drinking this after working out because it felt too heavy in my stomach but that’s what you get when you have a meal replacement. I paid $12 for 4 bottles so about $3/bottle, not too bad. Would I buy it again? Of course, I totally feel like I’m drinking something healthy and good for me.
