Sweet tooth recipe

Breakfast is one of my favorite meals. Why? Not only because you get to break your fast (hence breakfast) from sleeping but also because it revs up your body via nourishment to tackle the day. What you choose to eat in the morning can often times lead to lethargy or sustained energy. Today’s recipe is a nice sweet tooth side item but definitely not something you should base your whole breakfast meal on as it is missing many of the needed nutrients for sustained energy release.

If you like Nutella, this will be a recipe you would like to try. If you know how to make croissants or biscuits, you can start out making the biscuit or croissant as normal and before you bake both, insert some Nutella into it and then bake. The result is a wonderful decadent breakfast mini treat. Just like a cinnamon roll can be a mini or regular size, this too can be altered based on how you make the item so this way you don’t take in too many sugar calories or spoil your healthy breakfast.

Finding ways to enjoy your healthy meal is necessary so even if you can’t give up your daily bagel or croissant perhaps you can reduce their size and introduce a sweet ingredient so that your mind thinks ok, I’m eating this plus my healthy breakfast too.

Stay well!
