If you have been reading my posts, you know that the world food supply is changing and with those changes comes decisions that we have to make for our families. For some it may be easier than others to reinvent their meals but all of us will be affected when the food supply changes. Small impacts in one region can have wide reaching impacts in other parts of the world. So what does this mean? Well, as a non-veg eater, 30% of the time, I know that I don’t rely on meats for my complete diet but I do rely on other produce that can be impacted due to the world conditions (coronavirus, pollination, weather, etc.) so what would I do if something that I truly enjoy is not available? Good question! I really don’t know because since I don’t rely on any one thing completely, I’m pretty sure that I could pivot and change my diet. Does that mean that now is the time to become a vegetarian? Maybe or maybe not. I used to be a vegetarian growing up and only started to eat chicken and turkey as I started working out but maybe now truly is the time to pivot back to being vegetarian since so many options are available.
What would you do if you had a difficult choice to make? Would you be able to become a vegetarian?
