With the weather changing in most places of the US, seems like relief from the cold winter is on its way. Yeah! For a lot of people that means seeing more sunlight, an uptick in their moods, and of course moving out of the bulking mode to shredding mode but is that all that signals the end of the winter blues?
For me, end of winter means that we are able to go hiking again! Hiking before the bugs show up and before the heat shows up is always a plus. Not to mention that with the weather change, dogs can get a longer walk too—remember, they like exercise too and need it as much as we do. Winter blues also means with the lack of sunshine, we tend to rely more on supplements like Vitamin D so with the ability to go outside more, we can rely less on supplements and more on mother nature.
While winter continues to wind down, remember jacket weather is on its way out so if you have a goal to meet for your summer body, now is the time to work towards it because progress takes time and won’t come from a crash diet or constant exercise at the last minute!
