If you had a stressful week like me, likely you’ll have to release your stress someway so you’ve got a few choices? Food, exercise, reading, sleeping, or partying…which would you choice?
If you’re like me, you’ll likely know to choose the option that will not totally derail your goals so then for me it was exercising—going to CrossFit. Not only did I push myself with my workout, I felt so much better after since I didn’t eat anything crappy to overcome my stress, like most people do. Making smart choices can influence your life in good ways and possibly also help reduce your stress.
Remember, it’s easy to justify a poor choice but very hard to make a smart choice as those will likely have more impact so next time your stressed and need something to alleviate that stress, look for something in your life that you enjoy to do and maybe that might just help–even if only temporarily!
