So if you’ve been reading up this week, you’ve read about falling off the wagon but let’s flip gears now, what happens when you reset?
I didn’t expect to see much change in my energy level today after resetting but guess what? I do feel the energy change. How can I tell? You know that full feeling you have in your stomach when you overeat? Well, I don’t have that. Switching back to smaller portions and having salads with shrimp has been great. I also think the increase in water consumption is also helping because perhaps the toxins are being flushed out. Whatever is the reason, I’ll take it because I feel better.
Honestly, what is a better judge of your diet, how you feel or how fast your weight comes off or on? To each his own but for me it’s all about my energy level—do I have it at the beginning of the day, is it sustaining during the day, and is it there until I’m ready to sleep? For me, that’s a good measure of success.
