If you like eating rice but don’t want to eat white or brown rice, yeah you could always eat cauliflower rice but now there exists an alternative–chickpea rice.
Banza has a new product that is rice made with chickpeas and red lentils. It cooks easily and tastes good and more like rice than I expected. It doesn’t cost too much but the thing that I don’t like is that you get so little in the package. I’m sure they’ll come out with a larger package soon though. Macro wise, like white rice, it too has carbs so you can’t consume too much and not feel guilty if you’re watching carbs but this alternative has 10g protein (11g in 1/4 dry cup) so that makes it better than white rice for sure!
