Step Tracker

Recently, I got a Styr fitness tracker because it was free plus I only had to pay for shipping and handling. I usually rely on my phone to track my fitness though I know many of you have an Apple Watch or Fitbit but this is the first time that I had a fitness tracker on my wrist. My experience with it was pretty interesting.

In the past, I was hesitant to get one because I wasn’t sure how it would survive when I worked out with a kettlebell but oddly, nothing happened. I just rotated it and was able to keep it on while working out. Another thing that I noticed was that I walk a lot! I walked over 5k everyday so my caloric intake needed to be adjusted because that walking did not include any working out, just walking my dog and walking at work. Mind-blown! If you are hesitant about getting a fitness tracker, don’t be. I find it more accurate than your phone and it is so easy to setup, just connect your phone via bluetooth and download the app and your’re all set.

Remember, if you are trying to start your fitness journey, a fitness tracker is an easy way to make a simple change. You can’t fix something that is wrong if you don’t know what it is that you need to fix. I was surprised by how much I walk, you might be surprised that you need to walk more!
