Book: How will you measure your life?

As the year ends, we all tend to do some type of reflecting, so this book was one that I read earlier and it definitely resonates with me, how about you?

A fantastic book that I finished reading is How will you measure your life? By Clayton Christensen et al. The book is relevant in these tumultuous times as people are constantly looking to make a difference be in their careers or personally. I think some of the best aspects of the book include where should you devote your time and that is shown through many examples from parenting to companies that pivot from a strategy. How does it apply to you? What do you hope to gain from it?

For me, the best message from the book was though promotions and raises are what we seek, those gains provide instant gratification but only for the short-term while investing in friends/families and relationships though long and cumbersome to develop, provide long-term and life-altering impact. Choose wisely where you invest your time. Why? Because what do you want to be remembered by?

Invest your self and your relationships as those will likely enrich your life more than anything else!

Stay well!
