As I walk around outside with my dog, I feel exhilarated as I see many people stopping and being present. What does that mean? Well, usually life is in such a rush mode where we have to get everything done efficiently in whatever time we have during the day but thanks to the quarantine, we now have to slow down and actually be present.
For me, the biggest thing I’ve noticed is how nature surprises you. It’s officially spring and you’d expect many budding flowers but I saw snow instead on one day and the next buds on the next. Very serene and definitely something that I noticed during this time of isolation.
Hopefully after this pandemic, we will continue to practice being in the present because tomorrow is not promised!
