No matter how you get your vitamin A– carrots, food, supplements, meat, milk, etc.–there is a possibility that you can get too much and it can be toxic so if you’re taking too much or high dose vitamin A, do consult with your doctor.
Some side effects could include hair loss, fatigue, cracked lips, headaches, stomach issues, and more. Of course, these are also a result of lacking some other vitamins too so best to speak with your doctor to confirm what could be causing these side effects.
Strive to eat a balanced diet and check in with your doctor so that your health is optimal.
